      Hi Tang,
      All the polymers that I make have one functional group, called pyrrolidone, in common. Polymers that contain pyrrolidone can mix with lots of different solvents like water and hexane, which is not very common. This means that they can be used for lots of different applications like shampoo, ink for printers or for medicines.
      Some of the work I have done could possibly used as a drug delivery system. When the polymer is at room temperature the polymer is bundled up in a coil. This coil could have a drug molecule inside it. When the polymer is at body temperature, the coil unravels and the drug would be released.
