      Hmm tricky question, as I’m quite a calm and relaxed character, I’d have to say one of the noble gases, as they’re very stable and hard to get a reaction out of.

      I think I’ll have go with an element here – Carbon – the everyman element – at times a bit dull (graphite), but once you challenge it with some pressure beautiful things can come out of it (diamonds).

      At 7 o’clock this morning, having just weighed myself, I guess lead! However, I now feel better about my weight so I’ll say gold (heavy but useful and better looking than lead!)
