      With experience you don’t necessarily make less mistakes, you learn how to correct and identify them faster 🙂

      I think it would have been my father telling me to not be afraid of investing in my education, particularly when doing one research project, which was computer based – I was using a Linux system back then to do all my work so I bought a laptop and could then work from home or in the evenings when the need arose, rather than stay late at Uni all the time.

      “Don’t work down the pit!” My dad definately didn’t want me to be a coal miner.
