      There is a shortage of donor organs for those who need replacements. I think advances in making lab grown organs, which could replace humans damaged organs would save many lives. Also I think they would help advance the efforts to move away from testing on animals. As they could test potential drugs on the lab grown organs and test their effects instead of using animals.
