• Question: If you weren't a polymer scientist what other part of science would you like to work in?

      Hi Courtney – I think I’d go with biochemistry or synthetic biology – I really like the idea of being able to modify microorganisms to produce all sorts of materials or useful chemicals, or use them as sensors.

      That or something like computer science comboed with robotics, in which case I’d try to get employed by a company like Boston Dynamics or Google Xlabs !

      In my maters project I worked on designing catalysts for cross coupling reactions. I’d probably be working in this area if I hadn’t decided to change to polymers.
